Comment if you have any

Ok. So my friends and I have been debating on wether or not you can lose your salvation and actually last night i found these scriptures 2 Peter 3-11 "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us to his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world cause by evil desires. for this very reason, make every effort to add your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge , self-control; and to self-control, preseverance; and to preseverance, godliness and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. for if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has FORGOTTEN THAT HE HAS BEEN FORGIVEN OF HIS PAST SINS(my capitalization). Therefore, my brothers, be all more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Okay so the argument here is well what if someone is a Christian but falls away from the Lord? My answer is simple, well that person will come back.Matthew 26 28-30 "And why worry about your clothes? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you? You have so little faith!, or they never were truly Christians. (there are fake pastors out there so people can act for a long time). And then they pulled the what if question on me, well what if they stray away from God and die? are they still saved, and my answer is still yes, its a gift from God, its a "free ticket" it is what shows his magnificant love towards us, and then there is the thing, there is no such thing as a free ride, But God is awesome and thats is just a little thing that makes him awesome. As for athiests who claim they have been Christian, I was told when a teenager starts to rebel they want to find an argument that they could prove their parents wrong in, and most athiests being pastors kids, why not chose their career? So that proves that they were merely wanting to make their parents proud. By saying they were Christians, but when they started to rebel they chose that option to rebel on. ( this is my point of veiw please comment yours). I am not saying that this is it in all cases, but i am sure it is in a few.

As for more "dramatic stuff" that has been going on i was never going to comment on this but then my name got thrown into the mix, so i guess it is my business now.... My two friends are going at it. Its a guy and a girl. And i have to say that I am on the guys side. here are a couple of reasons why. Well first off, this guy has liked this girl and practically would die for her, until now, and she used that against himself and tore him up. She let him give her all the attention and gave none back, he bought her dinner, and he liked her soo much he pushed me away for a little but, but we are all friends now. Anyways all of this saying that he is her boyfriend without the title of boyfriend girlfriend, because she knew when an attractive guy would come along she would go straight for him, and blow the guy(my friend) off. Another point is she wouldn't go to things that this guy set up for her and everything, then gets "cramps" and ditches on him, after all that work, after a full year of planning, the girl pulls out last minute. And after all this all the guy wanted was some attention, But after that incident the guy got to his senses saying we should take a break, because they have been fighting and what not, soo the guy likes it because he gets to hang out with people he hasnt hung out with for awhile. But the girl relizes after a day she doesnt get attention anymore, as she has been using him for. so she wants to end the break, but the guy is having fun and doesnt want too. So she starts pulling guilt trips, thinking she will get him back, but he doesnt go back, so she shuns everybody out and starts blaming him for it, when it is not his fault for her actions. And as for her saying he was "talking bad about her" he was only expressing how he feels, and not to mention every time he said he has to do what he has to do, and saying he feels like a jerk for it, i can not consider that being talking bad. Sorry. So i got pulled into this for her trying to pull a guilt trip on me, i forgive her for it, i hope she doesnt regret that i posted this though. i just hope after all of this the post stuff will stop, and guilt trips wont be pulled anymore.

To end on a happy note :D I think im going to start a worship band:D, and for now im going to study James, everyone should study their Bibles too:D

Listening and Doing

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry-James 1:19 (NIV) This verse came to me tonight. It really struck me. This verse means a lot. Probably one of the most over-viewed verse (at least to me). You do this you will not assume. Assuming is probably one of the most dangerous things you can do. As i heard in a movie, "Assumption is the mother of all mess-ups. " Assumption can screw up many things and get you into a lot of trouble. For example assumption can screw up Friendship, marriage, familys, jobs, Christians, The human sight of God, etc. Now that i think about it this verse can be taken as do not assume. Also this verse can be applied to other things. Such as if someone will be more comfortable talking to you, if they know you're not a "hot head" which you can be viewed as if you don't follow this verse. Another thing that it tells you is listen to constructive criticisim. Life will be made a lot easier if you do this. Also this will make you a better leader too.

Well I went to the corn maze with the Cooks, Waynes, and Pruitts, and Ihad a blast. Not only that I learned a lot about the Amish. Though i made fun of them a lot, which i shouldn't have done :( . But they live interesting lives. And I think we could learn a lot from them. I'm glad I am fellowshipping with the Church more, though now i want to fellowship with the Church more and more. Well that is about all i mainly wanted to do the verse, it just hit me really hard tonight. God Bless.

New Bible

Well I got a new Bible (Revolution) . I had my old one for probably about 3-4 years. It had proof that I read it, but it finally died. In my brothers car. I had accidentally left it in the back seat and something got spilled on it...soo Genesis through 1st Chronicles is gone. This new Bible the Revolution Bible is a good one. Its made specifically for guys of the older teen years, and has a lot of truth in the notes( knowing that the Bible itself is pure truth) It gives great ideas for things to do, with dates. Not only that but shows examples of things to stand up for, and has a scriptural reference behind it. So to make a long story short, I like it. So I have been studying the Holy Spirit and God has touched me. I have been easily seeing Him. Then again I realize I need to balance out and Focus on God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as the trinity. I Have decided to make 1 Timothy 4:12 my yearly scripture to study and to act upon the hardest.

Soo during Sunday School some mornings I have heard somethings that come out of the teachers mouth which I find controversial...Should I bring up such subjects...Even if its minor correction? I ponder to what others think I should do. Because I don't want to give the teacher a burden of me coming to class everyday, but I do not want to let my classmates misunderstand things. What should I Do?...Any thoughts?..Please comment

So Mr. Terry preached today and he explained on how he used to preach when he was younger and as a teenager...And how he has screwed up a few times (no offense to be given) but that has comforted me in a way to know that make a good impression has failed before they have made it such a way to be a "substitute" Shepard...Especially to me as I want to be a pastor or a full-time missionary. In which I seek prayer for because my parents say I would like neither. Or provides no back up fancily. But honestly that does not bother me. So thank for the great Sermon Mr. Terry..It was inspirational.

Two of my friends have gotten into a bog fight. So much as they may not be friends anymore. And I do not know any advice to give to them for I will just listen hoping that, that will be enough. Such as in the book of Job when hiss friends stayed with him for four days, at least I believe it was four day. You can correct me if I am wrong. And so not a word to him. So I ask for prayer, and I ask that my presence should be enough to show I care for both of then equally.

So Friday I hung out with my friends. We went to the mall, there I saw Alex, Aly, Justin and, Corrie. Then I went to starbucks and we hung out at my friends house after that. Saturday. I had work then My Nisa (brother for Japanese) and I went to the carnival. It was a lot of fun. I got on my brothers nerves though. Because we were on the ride and I was like Oh My Gosh lets scream, because its soo scary :P.. And today I went to Church. Then My friend came over and then I had work and my friend came back over, left, and now I am here..soo that's what has been going on pretty much in my life...Until then God Bless

Can I get a HOO-HAW 2X Tuesday?

We will start with Tuesday. We'll I called a whole bunch of people to do something with the youth group. This group is becoming closer to my heart everytim e we fellowship. Not having a leader is really, how should i put it streessful? I know everyone hangs out with each other being friends and all, but not as one whole group, which is very important. I believe fellowship is one of the most important parts to a Church. Which is why i want the Band to feelowship all together. Most of them seem they don't want to hang out with eachother. That will change sooner or later. Back on subject, I care for this group a great deal and I don't want to see it "go down the drain" because we don't have a leader to fellowship. I would love to teach this group, but I fear the leaders would say that I am to "young" though personally I believe, if the person has knowledge of the Bible, and maturity. They could teach. I get these beliefs from this scripture, The LORD gave me a message. He said " I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as the spokesman to the world."
"Oh Sovereign LORD," i said, "I can't speak for you! I'm too young!"
" Don't say that," the LORD replied, " For you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people, fot I will be with you and take care of you. Im the LORD, have spoken!"- Jeremiah 1: 4-8.
Now I have no knowledge of how old Jeremiah truly was, nor I don't think any philosopher or any human being of today could tell you how old he truly was. They could estimate, but estimation is not fact. I've felt lead to lead some Christian activity weather it be band or teaching the youth group, which doesnt mean I would have total conrol

Catch up

Well this summer I have been doing pretty much work. Until the missions trip to P.A. with Christian Endeavor, I was in a worship band for GBEPC (see about me), but after we did the praise band for Christian Endeavor we stopped...I honestly think we should keep going, we could learn a lot more songs that way and be more prepared...instead of scrambling to get things done...I attended practice for the worship team for Church on the Rock, but I have decided that God wants me at GBEPC. The Missions trip to P.A. was awesome...I got away from home and all the worries about it, that was very needed. It's easy to say the missions trip was my vacation for the year.

Now we will go on from today on what I have done. Well my parents are out of town, and my brother went back to work up in Cumberland. So i got the house to myself all day. I spent most of the day learning HTML. :D then Justin D. picked me up and we went over Alex's saw Cassie and Justin H. off to go camping with the Nolen's and then we went and watch the Blues Brothers. That's a good movie, I found it amusing. Now I am at home, Scott Newman is over "watching" me.

All of a sudden now I have started getting urges to read. It's weird because i used to hate reading. But now I am slowly turning into a book worm. Not that i was last year. I mean i almost read the whole kid and adult series of Left Behind. Heh. i was at school though and there wass nothing else to do. Now I am working on 9 'O Clock in the Morning. it is a book about an Episcopalian preacher who received the Holy Spirit, and has the gift of speaking in tongues. and it gives a greater picture of how the Holy Spirit works. It is a really good book and i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know about the Holy Spirit. Also the book is based off of a true story. So you guys may know my beleifs on the Holy Spirit are, the Holy Spirit still does works today, just as in Bible times. These include Speaking in toungues, prophecy, healing, etc. I am open to debate. If you believe otherwise.

Which reminds me of another subject which breaks my heart. This subject is the divisions between denominations of Churches. The flood in Millvale brought the community closer together. Including the denominations of the churches. Methodist, Catholic, Luthern, any domination you could think of that was there were working together. And I envy that. Church polotics is horrible now-a-days, "Spiritual revival is happining all over the worl except America"

that was actually a quote out of my PACES last year in my history class. here is a few reasons why to

  1. Church politicians focus on the other churches beliefs and attack those instead of ministering
  2. Churches go out to "minister" but end up competing with another denomination, to make a long story short they end up focus more on "winning" than on our Creator and Lord. For which should be our only reason for going out there in the first place.
  3. Spend More money on "improving" the churches in uneccessary ways. Such as motion detector toliet and faucets, automatic doors, video games ( I have seen this), pool tables, air hockey tables. Doing these things to get more people in their domination. Basically because they are richer, but they deny that. Instead of spending money to support missions, to sponser kids not wealthy enough to go to Christian events ( Impact, Aquire the Fire, Creation, Victory Jam, etc.)

All these reasons are rooted to Churches fighting.Thats pretty much it until next time, God Bless

Finally!

well i finally got my site ready and its 2 in the morning....yea...took long enough...well i finally get to put to use my html skills :D...hmm..as you can tell pretty much all my names are influnced by lyrics from one band or another...and ill be the first to admit it..i am effected by lyrics everyone is there is no denying it...just wanted to start out on that
