Listening and Doing

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry-James 1:19 (NIV) This verse came to me tonight. It really struck me. This verse means a lot. Probably one of the most over-viewed verse (at least to me). You do this you will not assume. Assuming is probably one of the most dangerous things you can do. As i heard in a movie, "Assumption is the mother of all mess-ups. " Assumption can screw up many things and get you into a lot of trouble. For example assumption can screw up Friendship, marriage, familys, jobs, Christians, The human sight of God, etc. Now that i think about it this verse can be taken as do not assume. Also this verse can be applied to other things. Such as if someone will be more comfortable talking to you, if they know you're not a "hot head" which you can be viewed as if you don't follow this verse. Another thing that it tells you is listen to constructive criticisim. Life will be made a lot easier if you do this. Also this will make you a better leader too.

Well I went to the corn maze with the Cooks, Waynes, and Pruitts, and Ihad a blast. Not only that I learned a lot about the Amish. Though i made fun of them a lot, which i shouldn't have done :( . But they live interesting lives. And I think we could learn a lot from them. I'm glad I am fellowshipping with the Church more, though now i want to fellowship with the Church more and more. Well that is about all i mainly wanted to do the verse, it just hit me really hard tonight. God Bless.
